From Gokokuji Temple Kamakura Vol.15

Let's Practice True Buddhism.

Dear fellow friends,
How are you doing?
The coronavirus is not over yet.
You are staying home?
This time, I sent you the video of The Head Temple Taisekiji-Temple.
In Taisekiji-Temple, the most beautiful season of the year is the cherry blossom season in March and April. But we could not visit there in this year.
It is because of the pandemic coronavirus.

About the disaster, The Nichiren Daishonin has preached the sutra as follows

Three Calamities and Seven Disasters

Sansai shichinan

The three calamities are: famine, warfare, and pestilence. The seven disasters as stated in the Sutra of Medicine Master(Yakushi-kyo) are: disease and pestilence, invasion from foreign lands, revolt within one's domain, irregularities among the stars and constellations, eclipses of the sun and moon, unseasonable wind and rain, and unseasonable dry weather.
Nichiren Daishonin teaches that when people do not revere the true Law, and when heretical teachings, which are false doctrines and erroneous religions, run rampant in the land, various calamities and misfortunes will occur.
Basic Terminology Of Nichiren Shoshu p.139

Well, it will be held "The 800th anniversary of the birth of Nichiren Daishonin celebration" next year. The memorial service for the Nichiren Daishonin will be held.
Finally, I will write a "courageous teaching" from the Daishonin's Gosyo.

On Great Evil and Great Good Daiaku daizen-gosyo
(1275 Nichren Daishonin Age 54)

When great evil occurs, great good will follow.
Selected Gosho Passages Of Nichiren Shoshu p.185 Gosho p.796

"More believe in Nichiren Dashonin's teaching, and more chant Nam-Myoho Renge-kyo"
All of us could overcome not only the pandemic coronavirus but also any difficulties.

We are looking forward to seeing you again.
Please take good care of yourself.
